The Di2 Mk3 from LA Audio is a single channel, active direct box, suitable for driving long cable runs typically found in larger venues, without level loss. The DI box is housed in an extruded aluminum case and can be powered via two, 9V batteries, or by phantom power from a professional mixing console.Disconnection of the input signal causes automatic battery shut down, extending the battery life for up to 300 hours. The presence of phantom power is also automatically detected, further extending battery life.A Link input allows the speaker output of an amplifier/speaker combo to be directly sent to an input of a mixing console. This preserves all the tone generated by the amplifier and speaker, including EQ and distortion. For a clean signal, the instrument need only be plugged directly into the Di2 Mk3. Hi Ksoryou know the function of an Di Box. Quite simple. You have for example an guitar signal (unsymetrical signal) and want to work with an balanced signal in your mic Preamp. The di box converts the impedance level of a guitar or bass whatever into impedance level of an microphone signal.you have on this unit an pad switch which turns the level of the input downa boost switch to give 20dB more on the balanced and unbalanced out.an Gnd LIFT for avoiding Ground issuesLink is for playing over an real guitar amp at the same timehope this Helpscorrect me guys if I'm WrongKevin.
